About Me

An English language teacher based in Madrid.

Background

Originally from Cardiff (Wales), I trained as a high school English teacher after graduating with a Master of Arts in English. I spent the first few years of my career in Birmingham and then in South East Wales. In December 2015, I completed a CELTA and in September 2016, I relocated to Cáceres (Spain) and began teaching English and preparing students for Cambridge and Trinity exams. I completed my MEd in Applied Linguistics in 2019 and I’m also an experienced summer school Academic Manager and Centre Director. I’m currently a co-editor of IATEFL ReSIG’s ELT Research publication.

Current Work

In 2019 I moved to Madrid (Spain) and currently work as the Director of Studies for a private language academy in Getafe, Comunidad de Madrid. I continue as an independent researcher.
